High Tech Rochester (HTR) provides onsite support staff and programs to support high growth businesses at both the BioVenture Center and at the Lennox Tech Enterprise Center, located less than seven miles apart.
HTR is a not-for-profit economic development organization that receives significant financial support from the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR®), New York's high-technology economic development agency, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
HTR Programs and services available to organizations located in the BioVenture Center include:
- Opportunity Assessment Program-an objective evaluation of the business opportunity, including market dynamics, unmet need, competition, risks, and financials.
- Structured Business Development Program--HTR’s Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (EIR), seasoned business veterans, work closely with startups during the critical early growth phase.
- Capital Readiness Program--preparing entrepreneurs to successfully raise outside investment, including a capital strategy, strong business plan and investor presentation.
Technology Commercialization Acceleration Program--connects small and mid-size manufacturers to new products, new technologies, expert researchers and R&D sources.
- InfoBytes Luncheon Series--monthly program featuring local experts.
